If you really can’t wait till next Saturday…

I know, this post is a day late from my usual Sunday posting, so my apologies. The final edits on The Race against Time took all of my spare time last week. In a little over 24 hours, Amazon will lock me out of the pre-order novel ahead of its publication on Saturday. However, if you can’t wait for the Kindle version, the paperback is already live, in the UK here, the US here, as well as Canada and Australia. Actually, though, given the glacial speed of Amazon’s print-on-demand process and shipping time, you’re probably better off just waiting for the Kindle version. And you certainly are from the financial perspective š
In the meantime, spring has arrived here in sunny Warsaw, so here are a few pics of the garden and the hens.

Gah…that close up of the hens is terrifying. Seriously. That pic confirms why I don’t like chickens unless they’re roasted. Ahem, apologies. The white azalea? however, is just superb. Hang in there. Almost done. š

Ah, but they’re really sweet, like having your own little dinosaurs pecking about š

-shiver- exactly. I once saw a Youtube video of a cat playing with a mouse. A chicken wandered past, did a double take and speared the mouse with its beak and off it went to eat its ill-gotten gains. Was so fast and so…brutal. š¦
I know cats are mean to play with their food, but at least with my boyz, the mice either get rescued or actually to get away when kitty gets distracted. -sigh- usually inside the house. Nothing was getting away from that chicken.
